TANA 2017 Art Competition

TANA Telugu Kala Vaibhavam 2017 is proud to announce an exciting Art Competition. The Art Show will take place in St. Louis this May and includes an online component to allow every Telugu descendant across North America to present their artistic skills. Due to space considerations, only 25 exhibits will be considered for the gallery. The competition's aim is to promote Telugu artists, giving them chance to showcase their art talent in our TANA event.

Art Work Guidelines

Contestants can submit up to three artworks from any medium including drawings, paintings, knitting, quilling and photography.

  • Two-dimensional work (painting and drawing) including frame measure a total of 24" (60 cm) wide, 24" (60cm) high and 6" (15cm) deep.
  • All Submissions can weigh up to 20 pounds (9 kg). This includes frame weight.
  • A series of work must be limited to three pieces.

How To Submit Your Work

Anyone interested in showing their talent in Telugu Kala Vaibhavam needs to submit their application form and a digital image of their work. Images should be in JPEG format or PDF format with low/medium resolution and no larger than 2.5MB. You may send up to three images of artwork if detail shots are necessary. Please label each JPEG image with a last and first name (for Example. 1.Smith.Mary.jpg, 2.Smith.Mary.jpg). Send images to

Dead line for application is 30th April 2017. From the submitted applications, 25 works will be chosen for the exhibition. Those selected for the exhibition, their work will receive a confirmation email with further instructions, including how to ship physical pieces.
